The all new Tecnica Dragon 100 is designed to offer a more relaxed, upright stance for the high performance all mountain skier in a slightly softer flex model than the Dragon 120. Many performance features found in the proven Race Pro models have been engineered into the Dragon design. Compared to previous Diablo models, the Dragon has less forward lean, a higher rear cuff and a stiffer flex, but with the same 100 mm width for a snug, high performance fit. Features of the Dragon 100 include:
3 Density Construction The layout of different densities of material are asymmetric. Stiffer plastic on the inside edge of the shell transmits energy to the ski edge, while softer material on the outside edge allows for a more forgiving fit in this area. The boot is very easy to get in and out of, but the power to the ski is impressive. The Dragon 100 is approximately 20% softer than the Dragon 120.
UltraFit liner is slightly roomier, but still uses the most advanced materials to maximize heel hold and foot envelopment while offering unequaled comfort at the same time.
Velcro rear spoiler can be moved up, down, or taken out completely to customize the upper shaft area of the boot to fit your leg size and shape.
Dual Cuff Alignment is very easy to use and very effective. Adjusting the upper cuff to the shape of the leg is the best way to ensure your skis are flat on the snow for maximum edge to edge response, and power.
35 mm Velcro Powestrap keeps the boot close to the leg, but does not offer the elastic action found on the Dragon 120 and 110. This boot will feel less springy, and have a slightly more forgiving feel than the stiffer Dragon models with the UltraFlex powerstrap.
Carbon Steel Buckles are extremely low profile. Keeping the buckle closer to the shell reduces breakage, ensuring that your Dragons will give many years of great fit and performance.
AVS Grip sole – softer material molded into the heel of the boot absorbs vibration, while offering enhanced walking traction on slippery surfaces.
Forward Flex Adjustment may be changed by removing one, or both rivet bolts from the rear spine.
Hinged Instep catch pivots out of the way as your foot slides into the boot. This hinging action also allows the buckle to better distribute pressure over the top of the foot for a more comfortable, snugger fit in this critical area.
