Atomic has a really big hit with the new Nomad series, and the Crimson is the widest ski in this new family. This ski is the slightly wider, big brother to the Nomad Blackeye (79mm). For the skier whos main focus is getting off trail, but still needs a ski to tear up the hard pack, the Crimson is the perfect choice. Nomad is lighter, quicker and more fun than any Atomic ski ever built. But, the Crimson is still all Atomic; super stable and rock solid. Atomic has the most sophisticated R&D program in the ski business, and their enginering capability really shines in this new ski.

Lighter, Beta construction - Sector cut outs in the top of the ski remove excess weight. The Crimson has 10 sectors, the most of any of the Nomad models.
Nano material - Cut out areas of the ski are reininforced with Atomic &acut; s proprietary Nano fibers. Lighter weight than any other fiber, but incredibly strong.
Metal laminate sheets - just under the top sheet Titanal foil increases the twisting stiffness for superior edge hold and stability with virtually no additional weight.
Perfect sidecut shape for on and off trail with a medium radius shape. This ski is designed to be at home on or off trail.
Beta 4 profile top sheet (shaped like a B on its back) has natural resistance to twisting. Atomic Beta skis are legendary for their edge hold on hard snow.

Full Flex central mounting point allows the toe and heel to slide in a track as the ski flexes. The ski will turn easier, and arc tighter.
A second binding location allows you to move the binding forward on the ski if you wish. This will make the ski turn with even less effort. Additionally, it is possible to have this binding moved forward or back quite a bit to make the ski handle exactly as you would like, all with no holes to drill and fill.
Metal reinforced housings are among the most durable on the market. Solid snap in sound at entry lets you know you are fully attached to your skis.
Vertical release at toe offers increased protection in backward twisting falls.
Moveable AFD plate under the boot toe, combined with 4 rollers inside the toe cup result in a very low friction interface between the boot and bindings. The binding can quickly absorb shock and return the boot to center for better control and retention.
Laser measured DIN scale on each binding insures that you are set accurately to the DIN that you require.
