Women's specific MOD Structure  The shape of the MOD structure is sculpted to distribute mass in ways that ensure the smoothest ride. In both men's and women's skis the MOD is thickest toward the center of the ski to insulate the skier from vibrations and tapers toward the tip and tail to minimize weight making the skis easier to maneuver.  The optimum location and thickness of mass differs from men to women so we introduced different MOD shapes for our T:Nine skis. The aesthetic look of the MOD shape has also been customized with a softened, more shaped appearance that graphically ties into the design of the skis.

Women's specific MOD Monic  Although the location for this targeted mass dampening is consistent between our men's and women's models, the amount of focused mass is different between the two lines of skis. Through extensive testing with the members of our Alliance team, we have concluded the optimal MOD Monic mass of 15 grams on our T:Nine skis opposed to 25 grams in the men's models. The women’s MOD Monic is designed to accent the overall look without sacrificing function.

The Burnin Luv is one of our favorite ladies' skis of all time.  This is a ski that almost any women will ski better on, with no down side.  The Titan metal laminate construction makes the ski much more stable, but it is no more difficult to handle than lesser K2 T Nine models.  The edge hold and stability are among the best of any skis on the market, but it is also very forgiving.  If you are primarily an on trail skier, you cannot go wrong by choosing the Burnin Luv.  If you want more width to venture off trail as well, the same characteristics can be found in the slightly wider Lotta Luv that we also offer.

Proskiguy has the Burnin Luv matched up here with the very high performance Marker 12.0 Titanium Piston Control Turbo.  Marker no longer offers ANY Piston Control options installed as factory installed options.  And, our 12.0 Ti PCT is a much better binding than the Marker M1 11.0 normally sold with this ski.
WHY SPEND MORE TO GET LESS PERFORMANCE?
WHY BUY A SKI WITH A ONE SIZE FITS ALL BINDING?
Proskiguy offers you more performance for less money.  Click on the binding tab above for details on the Marker 12.0 Ti Piston Control Turbo, and why it is the best choice on your new skis.

A custom mounted system like this Marker 12.0 Piston Control Turbo puts the binding location on the ski exactly where it should be for your boot sole.  Many integrated systems, including the some of the brands listed above only provide a few locations for your boot to be located on the ski.  You may end up in front of, or behind the optimum mounting position.  With the 12.0 PC Turbo mounted properly on your ski, specifically for your boot, you can be certain you are standing exactly where the boot is supposed to be.  Additionally, this binding mounts very solidly to the ski.  There is no play between the toe and heel and the tracks that hold them.  Racers use direct mount bindings because they want absolutely the tightest connection possible, which is not normally achieved with a one size fits all system like many skis come with today.

  • Piston Control makes any good ski much better.  A hydraulic cylinder is built into the center section of the binding platform, with the Turbo arm extending out in front of the toe piece and fastened to the ski with a single screw.  The hydraulic cylinder retracts easily as the ski flexes, but resists extending as the ski counter flexes.  Vibration traveling through the ski is filtered out by this hydraulic action.  The result is a ski that is smoother when first placed on its edge, therefor more stable, and able to hold its edge better.
  • Biometric toe features added upward release protection in backwards falls.  The biometric models from Marker also offer a tighter link between boot and ski versus the Biotech models, due to the metal frame construction not found in the lesser models.
  • Marker's exclusive Gliding AFD eliminates the sliding interaction between the toe of the boot and the toe of the binding. The entire toe and toe rest move with the both side to side allowing a very consistent release.
  • Soft entry heel has a very low step in force, making the binding easier to get back into on difficult terrain, and very easy to get out of also.
  • Titanium component construction is very light, but also strong enough to be super durable for many days of use by even the most aggressive skiers.  The link between boot and ski is very tight.
  • This binding has a DIN range of 3 to 12, and will work for any skier with a DIN setting of 4 or higher.  That is virtually any adult skier.
  • We will include a wide brake at no addtional charge when necessary to fit any ski from Proskiguy.
